BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia) is a condition characterized by the enlargement of the prostate gland. These include maintaining a healthy lifestyle, limiting alcohol and caffeine, staying hydrated, emptying your bladder, and following up with healthcare providers. If you're experiencing symptoms related to BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia) that interfere with your daily life or cause discomfort, it's advisable to seek medical attention. Seek prompt medical help if you have moderate to severe symptoms such as frequent urination, weak urine flow, difficulty initiating or stopping urination, urinary urgency, nocturia (frequent urination at night), urinary retention, or recurring urinary tract infections. If you notice blood in your urine (hematuria), it's crucial to consult a healthcare professional promptly to rule out other potentially serious conditions.
